Warm-ups are typically around 7:15am. Met typically starts at 8:30. The full schedule will be posted the evening before the meet, which is dependent on entries from both teams.

TIME AND DATE: Sunday, June 6th: 2 sessions - 9-10 Session and 8 & Under session. 1 st Session warm-ups start at 9:30 a.m. and the meet will start at 10:45 a.m 2 nd Session warmups will start immediately after 1st session. Times posted week of meet.

Sunday, June 13 th: 3 Sessions – 11-12 Session, 13-14 Session and 15-19 Session. 1 st Session warmups start at 7:30 am and the meet will start at 8:45 am. 2 nd and 3rd Session times will start immediately after prior session and be posted week of meet once estimated timeline is run.

Marlin Mania is our first official event as a team. This mock meet is a time trial, so that coaches know how to place swimmers in future meets. We suggest that swimmers compete in all events they may swim in this summer so that we have times on file. We MUST have times for your swimmer if they want to participate in regular dual meets. 

Note that pictures will be done starting in the morning (see schedule below), with the actual meet starting at 10:30am. Please make every effort to attend this meet, since this is where you will get the "official times" used for seeding in our first dual meet. If you miss Marlin Mania, you will need to get your swimmers timed during special make-up sessions on practice nights.

About Marlin Mania

There are a few key differences between Marlin Mania and our regular season swim meets:

• Marlin Mania is only our team; no opposing teams.
• There are no relays at Marlin Mania.
• Swimmers can choose more than 3 events; please sign your swimmer up for any event that they might be interested in swimming during the season. They must have a seed time to enter future meets.
• We do not DQ (disqualify) swimmers from events during Marlin Mania. The important thing is to get the swimmers' times. They can continue improving their stroke technique in practice throughout the season.
• Swimmers will sit on the pool deck in their age groups with their designated Age Group Parent.

There are some things that are the same as other swim meets:

• We need our volunteers and officials to make sure the meet runs smoothly. This is also a practice run for the volunteers. The Job postings for volunteers is posted on the website under schedules. The meet will start at 10:30AM so all volunteers need to be in position by 10:00am. *If you signed up to be an age group parent, please be ready @940am* ALL volunteers report to the check in table.
• No parents or spectators are allowed on deck unless you have a volunteer position that requires you to be on deck. Otherwise, you can view the meet from the gallery stands. NO FLASH PHOTOGRAPHY is allowed since it interferes with the race starting equipment. You can take pictures but make sure your flash is off.
• Swimmers should be on deck in their designated area NO LATER THAN 9:45am, so that they can warm-up before the start of the meet and get their event information from the Age Group Parent.

About Pictures - 8:30am-10am

Picture Schedule:

8:30am: ages 13 and Up

8:45am-9am- ages 9-12

9am-9:30am 8 & under

9:30-10:00- Siblings (swimmers can wait and take individual photos with sibling time)

Warmups 10am, meet start at 10:30 am.

Please do not arrive late for pictures. Late arrival may delay the meet start.

IMPORTANT: All swimmers will be photographed twice, once for the composite team picture IN THEIR SUIT (no shirt) and once for an individual picture. However, there is no obligation to purchase pictures.

How do you sign your swimmer up for Marlin Mania?

Login with your credentials, click on Events, choose Marlin Mania Meet Entry, choose the drop down-attending, and then click on all events to get your swimmer timed. Reminder you want your swimmer timed in all events-this is a mock meet.

How do I sign up to be a volunteer?

Login with credentials, click on Events, choose Job Signup, then click signup for jobs, a list of jobs will appear, click on 1 that suits you (you'll notice a i button that you can hover over to give you a run down on that particular volunteer slot).
