Visiting Team Information

Venue: Conroe ISD, Laura Wilkinson Natatorium
Address: 19133 David Memorial Dr, Shenandoah, TX 77385
Where to park: There is ample parking available in the parking lot at the Natatorium. You will have more than enough space to park!
Warm-up: Visiting team warm-up is typically from 7:45-8:15. (Check with your team's formal communications to confirm.)
Pool: Our pool is an 8-lane, 25-yard indoor pool.
Concessions: Food and beverages will be available for sale at the concession stand on the second floor of the foyer.
Timing equipment: We use the Time Drops wireless swim timing system and manual watches. Times will automatically flow to the SwimTopia app throughout the meet.
Scratch Meeting
The scratch meeting will be held in the computer booth at 7:30 AM. Scratches need to be presented by your Clerk of Course or Coach to be passed to the Marlins Computers Team by 7:40 am.
Visitor Setup
Swimmers will setup on deck with their team. At all times, only officials and specific parent volunteers are allowed on deck. Spectators may not setup on deck. There is ample seating in the inside stands.
Teams are welcome to setup outside the Natatorium, if they choose. If your team does setup outside, it is your team's responsibility to ensure swimmers arrive to the ready bench on time, as there is no announcer outside.
Visiting Team Volunteer Information
Thank you for visiting! Swim meets run on volunteer power, and we appreciate your team’s help. Below is the general guidance for our visiting team volunteer needs.
Please note: Final volunteer requirements and lane assignments will be coordinated and confirmed with your Team Rep prior to the start of the meet.
Shift Schedule
- Shift 1: Events 1–40
- Shift 2: Events 41–80
Required Roles (Per Shift)
To keep the meet running smoothly, we request the following visiting team volunteers for each shift:
- Lane Timers: 12 total per shift (3 timers for each of your assigned lanes: 1, 3, 5, and 7)
- Ready Bench Helpers: 2 per shift
- Runner: 2 per shift
- Computer/Data Entry Helper: 1 per shift
- Head Timer: 1 required for Shift 2 only
- Ribbon Helper: 1 required, starting at event 25
The Officials’ Meeting will begin at 8:00 AM in the conference room behind the welcome desk in the foyer.
A Ready Bench meeting for all assisting the ready bench will start at 8:00 AM at the Ready Bench area on the pool deck.
The Timers/Scribes meeting will begin at 8:15 am on deck under the scoreboard.
The meet will start promptly at 8:30 am.
