Dear Marlin Family,

I hope you all have had a blessed year so far and that you are all staying warm and safe. I wanted to reach out and update you on the upcoming Marlins season.

I know there have been a lot of rumors flying around about the status of this season, but I assure you that we WILL have a team and a season this summer. As many of you know, the CISD Natatorium will be closed for much needed renovations and updates this summer. We can’t wait to see how great it will be next year! We have been working on a plan since we were notified last year. We have been in close communication with The Woodlands Township and will have a pool assignment by the end of this month.

So, our season will look a little different this summer, but I am excited to embrace these challenges, not as a detriment to the team, but as an opportunity to have the BEST SUMMER EVER! We have the opportunity to have more team events and activities, as well as focusing on the sportsmanship and camaraderie that our team is built on.

I will keep you updated as soon as we get an update. For now, the timeline is that as soon as we have a pool assignment, we will open registration and schedule our parent information meetings. It will be ASAP in February. So, in the meantime, tell your friends and families about our wonderful Marlin family! I speak, not only for myself, but for the whole Marlins Board of Directors, that we cannot wait to see all of our swimmers back and are excited about the Summer of ’25 season!
